The Fujian province of China is the chief producer of Tea due to its suitable climate for tea plantation. Tea is grown all throughout the Fujian province encompassing its eastern, western, southern and northern regions. With a mild climate and green all year round, Fujian is endowed with abundant water resources ,a long coastline and rich mineral deposits. Tea is a local feature of Fujian province. The title says it all: Spain without tasting Jamon Iberico de Bellota! It is an understatement to some people when you say that it is one of the best tasting hams in the world, the most appropriate would be is that it is THE most amazing and most fantastic tasting ham in the entire world. It is an exaggeration but if you have tasted it in Spain and not from stores found in your neighborhood then you will agree with me about this.

2012 was the first year for the Riviera Maya Food and Wine Festival, and according to organizers, a huge success! The event attracted celebrity chefs from all over South and North America, bringing together diverse talents in a showcase of fine gastronomic delights like Mexico has not seen before. Local wineries where invited to show off their finest bottled beverages as well, and farmers all over the Riviera Maya found their fresh produce being apart of the festival menu. The festival was such a triumph that organizers have announced the dates for the 2013 Food and Wine Festival, March 14 to 17.

Miami is well known for the white sand beaches, hot bodies and delicious dining destinations. Should you be traveling to Miami and are in the mood for a meal that’s absolutely yummy, you should try traditional Cuban food. There is nothing subtle regarding this delicious fare. The flavors pop with bursts of garlic clove, onion and cumin. The flavor base for the majority of Cuban dishes commence with a traditional “sofrito” that’s frequently the first layer of flavor in many Cuban dishes.
