Take a self-guided tour of Garden Valley Ranch, one of Northern California’s most sought-after horticultural marvels. In 1998, the nine-acre garden-rose ranch produced more than a quarter-million blooms and shipped them across the country.

Gather fruits and vegetables for a fresh salad at Sonoma County Farm Trails, where sheep, honeybees, butterflies, llamas and birds intermingle with spectators. Pick berries in the summer, pumpkins in the fall, Christmas trees in the winter and flowers in the spring.

Napa Valley is a wine connoisseur’s wonderland, with tasting sites, picnic tables and tours along Highway 29. Hop aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train for a trip from Napa to St. Helena.
