Chicago Must-Sees

Inquisitive minds love Chicago’s Museum Campus, a 57-acre lakefront park housing the newly renovated Shedd Aquarium, the artifact-filled Field Museum and the Adler Planetarium (the nation’s first).

On every summer weekend, at least one of Chicago’s dozens of distinctive neighborhoods hosts a bustling street festival. Expect live music, local food and drink, and children’s activities.

Zoom 94 stories for John Hancock Observatory views, tiptoe onto the glass Skydeck 103 floors up Willis Tower, walk Millennium Park to glimpse the Cloud Gate, or take a Chicago Architecture Foundation tour.

In winter, gaze at twinkling holiday lights along Michigan Avenue. Grab a cup of hot chocolate and stroll a bit farther south to see the festive window displays at Macy’s State Street.

Downtown’s busy Theater District boasts five beautiful playhouses hosting a variety of Broadway musicals and plays. Catch award-winning shows at smaller venues, such as Steppenwolf and the Goodman.
