First opened by Hugh Hefner as a Playboy Club in 1968, Grand Geneva Resort now reigns as Wisconsin’s largest conference resort. The 1,300-acre property in Lake Geneva encompasses 36 holes of golf, a full-service spa, and 50,000 square feet of elegant function space.

The buildings, inspired by the designs of Frank Lloyd Wright, showcase views of Grand Geneva’s two championship 18-hole golf courses spread over rolling hills.

The Brute course offers vast greens exceeding 8,000 square feet plus 68 bunkers to keep golfers on their toes. The finish beside Grand Geneva Lake epitomizes the pleasures of this walk through nature.

For a different challenge, The Highlands presents a player-friendly links-style course where target golf is the challenge.

To unwind, guests visit The Well Spa, where treatments are based on Native American philosophy and draw on the basic elements of air, earth, fire, and water. The soothing 110-minute Journey Treatment uses them all in a combination of massage, aromatherapy, and meditation.

Additional facilities include The Sport Center with fitness classes, a 35-foot rock-climbing wall, tennis and basketball courts, cardiovascular equipment, and a lap pool. Guests also enjoy Moose Mountain Falls, a 50,000-square-foot water park.

The resort easily accommodates business groups of 10 to 1,500. In summer, celebrations often fill the Outdoor Pavilion overlooking the golf courses.

Add two award-winning restaurants, 355 guest rooms with wireless Internet access, and an expert events team, and Grand Geneva Resort emerges as a year-round meeting destination par excellence.
