Overlooking the sapphire-colored Sea of Cortéz, the Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort offers an oasis of golf and other leisure pursuits at the tip of Mexico’s Baja peninsula.

Jack Nicklaus describes Cabo as “the number-one golf destination I know of, period.” An almost perfect climate, breathtaking scenery, and myriad courses make this desert cape Latin America’s premier golf destination.

Hilton guests tee off on a sumptuous 18-hole course within the hotel’s own Cabo Real resort community and at several nearby facilities, all bookable through Hilton’s golf concierge.

Former home of the PGA Senior Slam Tournament and Taylor Made Pro-Am, the adjacent Cabo Real Golf Club presents spectacular desert and oceanfront holes, including the toughest front nine in Cabo. The course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., features narrow rolling fairways with strategically placed bunkers. The first six holes cover mountainous terrain, with hills and valleys stretching into the surrounding Sierras.

Stronger players may be caught overshooting the twelfth hole, which sits atop a high mesa facing the sea. Other courses open to Hilton guests include the rambling Palmilla Golf Club and the stunning Ocean Course, both designed by Nicklaus, as well as the Desert Course by Tom Weiskopf, the Fonatur Country Club, and Pete Dye’s Raven Club at Land’s End.

After a round or two, golfers soothe their weary muscles at the Hilton’s Ixchel Spa. Named after the ancient Mayan moon goddess renowned for her healing and restorative powers, the spa offers relaxation and rejuvenation via nature’s finest ingredients.

Pampering treatments for both men and women include hydroactive mineral salt scrubs, nourishing enzymatic sea mudpacks, holistic crystal healing massage, herbal foot soaks, and an ancient desert sage therapy called smudging.

Six outdoor terraces and a variety of high-tech meeting rooms provide plenty of options for conferences and special events. And at the end of the day, Hilton Los Cabos guests enjoy dreamy sunset views from their own private balconies.
