The Belle Époque lives again at Le Palais Hotel Prague, where a 2002 restoration of the original 1897 building created a historically accurate gem. Le Palais rests in the very heart of the city, in a residential quarter known as the Vinohrady, just over a half mile from fabled Wenceslas Square.
Original frescoes still grace the building’s interior walls, but amenities like DVD players, air-conditioning, Internet hookups, and direct-dial phones make Le Palais a twenty-first-century classic of up-to-date, five-star convenience.
