Nestled in Spain’s legendary Valley of Golf, the Westin La Quinta Golf Resort blends Spanish elegance, a flawless Costa del Sol climate, and some of the region’s best golf into a marvelous vacation mosaic.

One of 50 courses in the Marbella area, the resort’s La Quinta Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes designed by Antonio Garrido and former Ryder Cup winner Manuel Piñero. Guests can play the three nine-hole layouts in three different 18-hole combinations—or just play nine holes.

Undulating terrain, narrow fairways, and plenty of sand and water hazards bring out the best in every golfer who takes up the challenge.

Short approach shots and easy-to-reach greens make the Ronda Course the least challenging of the three. The Guadaiza Course raises the ante with longer fairways and water hazards on three holes, including a very tricky ninth green. Toughest of all, the San Pedro Course features enormous fairways and greens well protected by lakes and bunkers. Its most demanding holes include the par-5 fourth, with its massive dogleg, and the par-3 eighth, with a tee shot over open water onto a green with steeply sloping sides.

At the fitness center, guests soothe aching muscles with massage treatments and find relaxation in the sauna. The resort makes the best of limited meeting and function space with high-tech amenities, flexible layouts, and outstanding service. The modern Salon Guadaiza at the convention center accommodates up to 200 people, while the hotel’s cozy Salon Ronda caters to much smaller groups and gatherings. A rooftop garden with pond provides an enchanting venue for coffees and cocktail soirees. The country club offers three additional function rooms for meetings and celebrations.

Fifteen minutes away, the ancient city of Marbella showcases an assortment of historic attractions, white-sand beaches, and dazzling nightlife for guests who can tear themselves away from Westin La Quinta’s bountiful charms.
