Pebble Beach

L’Auberge Carmel

It was in front of the stunning scenery of Big Sur that Henry Miller said that he learnt to pray. To take the time to meditate in front of the immensity of these cliffs which seem to plunge down into the ocean- the little village of artists of Carmel-by-the-Sea is the ideal base.

Halfway between San Francisco and the coast of Santa Barbara- inhabited by seals- whales and other marine mammals- the village – where Clint Eastwood was once mayor – will charm you with its many art galleries and pebble beaches.

Couple time in Carmel

Reconnecting and rejuvenating in coastal California. My husband and I took a trip to Carmel-by-the-Sea without our teenage children so we could enjoy some much-needed couple time—catching up, reconnecting, and generally remembering why we chose to marry each other in the first place.

Pebble Beach Golf

One of the most famous – and highly regarded – golf courses in the world. It annually hosts the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on the PGA Tour, and regularly hosts other major tournaments including the U.S. Open. Pebble Beach Golf Links is the jewel of Pebble Beach Resorts, which includes several other well-known golf courses on the peninsula.
