A $20 million renovation has added a new level of luxury throughout the property, including stylish furnishings and modern amenities to each of 360 guest rooms and suites, as well as a fresh new look to public spaces, restaurants and bars. Hyatt Regency Aruba`s elegant yet casual vacation experience provides a remarkable take on Caribbean ambiance and the unique Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish heritage of the island.

Situated on renowned Palm Beach, the resort offers five distinctive restaurants and four bars with breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea, the whirlwind of gaming and entertainment at the 11,400 square-foot Copacabana Casino, and a European Spa and fitness center.

There`s an 18-hole Championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. nearby, extensive water sports from Red Sail Sports, and even Camp Hyatt on-site for the kids. Or, just lay back, relax and sunbathe on the resorts private beach and multi-level pool complex. Guaranteed, there will be plenty of Caribbean sun to go around.

Room Categories and Descriptions
Room amenities include air conditioning, servi-bar, color TV, in-room safe, iron/ironing board, direct dial telephone with voice mail, coffee maker, and hairdryer.

Children Policy: Children 18 years and under are free when sharing room with adult.

Maximum Occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults with 2 children.

Guestroom – 2 queen beds. Rooms without a step-out balcony and limited view.

Gardenview – 1 king bed or 2 double beds. Rooms offer views of the hotel gardens. All rooms have step-out French balcony, but no view of the ocean.

Ocean/Islandview – 1 king bed. Rooms have partial ocean views and overlook the North side of the island. All rooms have step out French balcony. The Ocean Island will only have a king size bed. There will be no double bedding.

Ocean/Poolview – 1 king bed or 2 double beds. Rooms have partial ocean views facing the three-level pool, lagoon and tropical gardens. All rooms have a step-out French balcony.

Regency Club Room – Rooms are located on the 9th floor, each room with an Ocean/Island or Ocean/Pool view. Majority of rooms have one king bed. They are located on a private floor, which offers a lounge, complimentary continental breakfast and evening hors d’oeuvres with wines, premium drinks and beers. Regency Club rooms are enhanced with upgraded amenities and step-out French balcony.

Restaurants and Bars

Copacabana Casino Bar – The Casino Bar is a great place to try to woo lady luck while enjoying an exotic drink or hand rolled Cuban Cigar.

Kadushi Juice Bar – Try the delicious fruit and vegetable health drinks at Kadushi Juice Bar, located in front of the Palms Beach Bar. All juices and smoothies are prepared from fresh fruit and vegetables right before your eyes!

Palms Beach Bar – They cook and pour late night at Palms Bar opposite the Palms Restaurant and steps away from the beach. Enjoy the islands flavors & sounds with specialty cocktails, snacks and light meals. There’s no better place to sip your favorite frozen drink and watch the sun set over the water or your favorite sporting event. Cuisine: Snacks /light lunch and dinner. Dress Code: Casual- beach ware. Opening Hours- 10am-1am. Entertainment: Karaoke.

Piet’s Pier Bar – Join your friends at this bar for the resort’s only “Happy Hour Plus.” From 4:30pm to 6:30pm enjoy 1/2 price drinks and the tranquil waters or magnificent sunsets on Aruba’s azure waters.

Balashi Bar & Grill – Swim or walk up to the Balashi Bar for your favorite cocktail, lunch or snack. Or if you prefer to beat the heat, enjoy the shaded seating next to the pool. Cuisine is snacks/light lunch-poolside grill. Dress Code is casual. Opening Hours: 10am to 6pm daily.

Café Piccolo – A casual 50-seat Italian Dinner Café, serving fresh Pastas, Pizzas and traditional Italian dishes. The chef prepares your gourmet “Master pizzas” and Northern Italian classics in the brick oven display kitchen. Café Piccolo also features specialty Italian wines by the glass, and a selection of Grappas. Cuisine is Italian. Dress Code is Resort Attire. Opening Hours: 6pm-10:30pm daily, except on Mondays.

Alfresco – Alfresco offers a fabulous view of the water playground and the occasional iguana! A great place to stop by for sandwiches, salads, sushi rolls or pizza pies featuring live music nightly. Located opposite the casino.


Café Japengo Restaurant – Offering fine dining with an Asian influence. Experience Sushi and fresh seafood. Opening hours 6pm-10:30pm, open daily except on Tuesdays.

Footprints Beach Grill – Celebrate another perfect day in paradise with an unforgettable dinner at Footprints. This exclusive restaurant with only five tables is available each evening, offers fine dining while you wiggle your toes in the soft white sand. Enjoy the sounds of the sea as the attentive staff serves a delicious four course dinner, featuring their renowned grilled entrees with your choice of beef, ribs, fresh seafood and more. Finish a delightful evening with a tempting dessert and your favorite cocktail or wine from the hotels extensive selection. Open from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m, Friday through Wednesday.

Ruinas del Mar – “Ruins of the Sea” is a casually elegant restaurant surrounded by lush landscaping, waterfalls, Koi fish and black swans. Cuisine is International. Dress Code is Resort Attire. Opening Hours: Breakfast 7am-12pm, Mon-Sat; Dinner 5:30pm-10:30pm nightly; Champagne Sunday Brunch 9am-2pm. Closed on Sunday night.

The Palms Restaurant – As Aruba’s gentle trade winds caress you, the Chef will impress you in the open-air Palms Restaurant for lunch and dinner. Palms offers a choice of seating inside for a momentary respite from the sun, or outside overlooking the white sandy beach and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The lively display kitchen offers seafood & grilled specialties, in addition to innovative salads and sandwiches. Specialty Nights include Thursday’s Lobster Night (broiled on the beach), and Friday’s “All You Can Eat Fajitas”. Cuisine is Contemporary Caribbean. Dress Code is Casual. Opening Hours: Breakfast on Sundays only 7am-11:30am; Lunch 11:30am to 6pm daily; Dinner 6pm to 10:30pm nightly; Late Dinner 10:30pm-12:00 midnight nightly. Entertainment Mariachi Band on Friday night. Closed on Wednesday night.
